APICS builds knowledge and skills in operations management professionals to enhance and validate abilities and accelerate careers. We help our members and their organizations successfully compete and build a stronger global community.

The Southwest District provides support and guidance to enable chapters to meet and exceed the chapter minimum standards in promoting the objectives of the Association. The District thru its volunteer staff assists with the development and implementation of chapter management training and facilitates two-way communication.

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all chapters comply with and submit Chapter Minimum Standards (CMS) annually

  • Actively lead revitalization efforts for chapters not meeting CMS

  • Develop and implement chapter training and facilitate two-way communication

  • Support Chapter Presidents with chapter development goals

  • Encourage 100% Chapter participation in the CBAR program

  • Promote membership and sales of products and services

  • Communicate the needs of the District members to the central Association
